Who Pays for Chiropractic?
Today many insurance companies provide chiropractic coverage. LSM will gladly file your insurance claim to your primary insurance carrier. LSM also participates with many local HMO and PPO plans including:
* Dean Health Plan Providers are located at our Cottage Grove, West Madison, East Madison, Dean/St. Mary's, Middleton, Sun Prairie, New Glarus, Fort Atkinson, Fitchburg, Oregon, Verona and Whitewater locations.
** Medicare offers limited chiropractic coverage. If you have Medicare and a supplemental plan, contact your supplemental carrier to see what chiropractic services are covered.
Insurance companies offer many different plans, packages, and options. We strongly advise you to contact your insurance company or review your plan benefits so you know your coverage limitations, co-payments, co-insurance, and/or deductibles which may apply. If you still have questions regarding your insurance, ask to speak with one of our billing specialists. In today’s health care market place there are more plans than ever. Knowing your benefits before your visit will help you and your doctor make informed choices and avoid any unexpected costs.
If you have been injured at work, notify your employer of the injury, inform your doctor at your first visit, and LSM will file your chiropractic bills directly to your employer's workers' compensation insurance for payment.
Personal Injury Claims
LSM has experience working with local attorneys and auto carrier plans. If you have been in an auto accident or a personal injury, LSM may be able to file your claim to the personal injury carrier responsible for your medical bills. Each personal claim is unique, so be sure to ask to speak with a LSM billing specialist if you have any questions about your personal injury claim.
If you have any questions please contact our Billing Department at (608) 291-0957.
